Chi-Yin Lee

Chi-Yin Lee is the current Software Development Lead at Cordance Medical. Chi-Yin has also served as the CTO at InnerVision Medical Technologies and as the Senior Director, Project Management at Hansen Medical. Prior to that, they were the Director, Ultrasound Engineering at Siemens Medical Solutions.

Lee has been responsible for developing ultrasound technology to obtain premium class performance from low cost systems. Her initial clinical results are providing clear evidence that the technology that they have developed is capable of delivering and surpassing performance expected only from super-premium systems. Additionally, they have been an integral participant of the group deciding business strategy for the company.

At Hansen Medical, Lee led the design, development and integration of 3rd party technology with the company’s minimally invasive, robotically controlled catheter. Her responsibilities included evaluating and choosing appropriate technology, developing and promoting product vision, developing and managing project budget, developing IP, managing internal and external multidisciplinary technical and non-technical resources.

As the Director, Ultrasound Engineering at Siemens Medical Solutions, Lee was responsible for developing ultrasound technology for use in medical diagnostic applications.

Chi-Yin Lee earned their Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University. Chi-Yin also attended Loyola School.

Chi-Yin Lee reports to Ryan Dittamore, CEO. They are on a team with Marvin Jones - Mechanical Engineering Lead, Bhaskar Ramamurthy - CTO & Co-Founder, and Jack Marshall - Founding Engineer & Electrical Engineering Lead.
