Grant Palmer is a Partner and Chief Financial Officer for Cordia Partners and Cordia Resources (CORDIA). He is responsible for leading Cordia’s finance, accounting, and human resource functions, while executing on finance strategies and BD efforts to achieve continued growth. Grant brings over 25 years of professional experience managing corporate finance teams at rapidly growing companies in both the healthcare and information services industries.
Prior to Cordia, Grant served as the Senior Vice-President of Finance/Interim CFO with Centurion Health where he led all finance functions including accounting, FP&A, new and existing business development pricing, and payroll/systems. He was part of the strategic M&A team that led the sale of the company to Centene Corporation, a Fortune 25 company. Earlier, Grant served as the corporate Controller and Vice-President, Finance at a privately held investment firm. There he led the accounting, FP&A and client service groups, as well as the analysis and due diligence of nine acquisitions of companies and product lines resulting in significant top and bottom-line growth. During his career, he has successfully executed numerous accounting and budget system technology migrations to support these high-growth companies.
Grant earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland. He is an avid supporter of several local organizations including the ALS Association on their annual walk teams, the McKenna Center DC Hypothermia Center, and Gonzaga College High School where he served as a Fathers’ Club President/board member.
