Cory Nykiforuk

Cory Nykiforuk has extensive experience in the biotechnology industry, with a focus on innovation and technical evaluations. Cory'smost recent role was as the General Manager for North America Operations at Core Biogenesis, a company specializing in recombinant protein bioproduction and growth factors for cell culture. Prior to that, they served as the Head of External Development at EVQLV and as a Principal Consultant at Viridis Biosciences, where they provided strategic insight and tactical plans for biotechnology companies. Cory's previous experience includes roles at Emergent BioSolutions, Cangene bioPharma, Viridis Phytosciences, Sembiosys Genetics Inc, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, and the University of Lethbridge. Overall, Cory has a proven track record of leadership, management, and technical expertise in the biotechnology field.

Cory Nykiforuk completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Alberta, attending from 1986 to 1990. They then pursued further education and obtained a PhD in Plant Molecular Biology from the same university, completing their studies from 1990 to 1996.
