Valia Iliopoulou

Valia Iliopoulou is a seasoned professional in energy efficiency and project management with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently, Valia serves as the Leader of the Energy and Resource Efficiency Unit at CORE Group since October 2020, having previously held positions such as Project Manager and Innovation Project Manager. Prior to CORE Group, Valia worked in business development and travel design at Escapades Greece and coordinated energy initiatives at DAFNI Network. Valia's earlier career includes roles as Product Manager and Sales Engineer at Younicos and a Master Thesis internship focused on energy efficiency at Enerdata. Valia's academic qualifications include dual M.Sc degrees in Project Management for Environmental and Energy Engineering from Ecole des Mines de Nantes and IMT Atlantique, along with a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Patras.
