Mel Harris

Mel Harris is an accomplished RN Case Manager with extensive experience in hospice and healthcare settings. Currently with Core Medical Group since November 2021, Mel Harris assesses nursing needs, monitors patient conditions, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans. Previous roles include RN Case Manager at St. Vincent Ascension/Compassus, where responsibilities encompassed patient assessments and education, and a Registered Nurse position at COMMUNITY HOSPITAL NORTH focusing on recovery for critically ill patients. Mel Harris also served as Weekend Nurse Manager at Westminster Village and Unit Charge Nurse at Mulberry Health & Rehabilitation Center, demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills in managing nursing care. Additional experience as a Home Health Caregiver and Patient Service Assistant contributed to a well-rounded background. Mel Harris holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from Indiana State University and a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse training from Ivy Tech University.
