William Dunn has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. William is currently serving as the Chief Claim Officer and Senior Vice President at Core Specialty Insurance Holdings, Inc., where they are responsible for leading the Claims Servicing function and formulating strategic priorities and objectives for the Claims function. Prior to this, William has held various leadership positions in renowned companies such as Nationwide, ACIG, FirstGroup America, RLI Insurance Company, QBE the Americas, RiverStone Claims Management, dotRisk Inc., AEGIS Insurance Services, and American International Group. Their roles have included managing high-profile litigated claims, coordinating and supervising claim management functions, providing strategic and tactical leadership, and developing claim management systems. Throughout their career, William has demonstrated expertise in loss cost management, claims outcomes, litigation management, vendor management, and compliance with claims regulations.
William Dunn has a JD degree in Law from New York Law School, which they obtained from 1987 to 1990. William also holds an MBA degree in Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University, completed between 1996 and 1998. In the field of insurance, they pursued a CPCU degree in Property/Casualty Underwriting from The Institutes during 2009 and 2010. Moreover, their education history includes a BS degree in Computer Science from St. John's University, which they attained from 1983 to 1987. Additionally, William has obtained certifications such as Construction Risk Insurance Specialist from IRMI Group in 2016, Associate in Claims from The Institutes in 2011, and CPCU certification from The Institutes.
