Tamara Chehayeb Makarem

Tamara Chehayeb Makarem is a seasoned professional in user experience design, currently serving as the Head of Product UX at Coremont since January 2022. With a strong background in public sector and financial services, Tamara has previously held roles as Lead User Experience Design Consultant at Scott Logic, where high-quality applications were developed. Tamara is also an active speaker, engaging in various panels and discussions at events such as the Women in Technology World Series and The Open Source Strategy Forum, focusing on career progression for women in FinTech and the importance of empathy in organizations. Tamara's educational credentials include a Master of Fine Arts in Design and Technology from Parsons the New School for Design and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from American University of Beirut.
