Gabriel Uri Brito Davansso

Gabriel Uri Brito Davansso has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and engineering. Gabriel Uri is currently working as a Software Engineer at Corero Network Security since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at LumiraDx, starting as a Senior Software QA Engineer from October 2021 to August 2022, and later transitioning to the role of Lead Software Test Engineer from August 2022 to October 2022.

Before LumiraDx, Gabriel worked as a Software Test Engineer at Access IS from March 2021 to October 2021. Gabriel Uri also had a role as a Software Developer Consultant at Apollo Solutions Dev from January 2021 to July 2021.

Gabriel gained internship experience at MaxLinear from August 2020 to October 2020 and at Lantiq, an Intel Company, from November 2019 to July 2020, both in the role of DSL Software developer intern. In these positions, they were responsible for the test automation environment, maintenance, and development of embedded Linux systems, and participated in Agile software development projects.

Their earliest work experience was as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at FAPESP. From November 2017 to April 2019, Gabriel worked on a research project focused on optimizing electrical power systems using Particle Swarm Optimization integrated with Penalty Functions. Gabriel Uri developed programs in Python to achieve this goal.

Gabriel Uri Brito Davansso obtained their Bachelor's degree with first class honors in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho. Gabriel Uri completed their degree from 2016 to 2021.

In addition to their degree, Gabriel has obtained several certifications. In 2017, they completed the course "PH526x: Using Python for Research" from edX. In 2019, they achieved a score of 670 out of 677 in the TOEFL ITP exam from CAPES - Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior. In 2020, they completed the courses "SoloLearn Python 3" and "SoloLearn Machine Learning" from SoloLearn. Most recently, in 2022, they obtained the certification "Real World Python Test Automation with Pytest" from Udemy.
