Peter Cutler

Peter Cutler has a diverse work experience. Peter started their career in 2005 at International Rectifier, where they conducted research on heat transfer for power semiconductors. In 2006, they joined Applied Materials, specializing in electro-mechanical robotics engineering. Peter then moved to IBM in 2008, working in technical pre-sales support and later as a security systems technical sales representative. At IBM, they demonstrated and sold IBM Security software and gained expertise in threat mitigation and identity/access management. In 2012, they worked briefly as a UK Sales Engineer before joining Corero Network Security as a security sales engineer. At Corero, they demonstrated, advised, and deployed the latest SmartWall technology for defending against denial of service attacks. Peter later took on the role of EMEA Security Sales Engineering Lead.

Peter Cutler graduated from the University of Surrey with a degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering with Business Management. Peter obtained additional certifications including becoming a Hurricane Electric IPv6 Certified Guru in May 2016 and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) in January 2015. Furthermore, they obtained the CISSP certification from the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) in October 2014.
