Brian Herr

Brian Herr has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Brian is currently the Chief Information Officer (CIO), Chief Security Officer (CSO), and Data Protection Officer (DPO) at Coretek Services since May 2021. Prior to that, they were the Co-Owner of Herr Pet Training LLC starting in April 2008. Brian also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Nugravity from June 2015 to July 2022. Other notable roles include Field CISO at Mainline Information Systems from July 2020 to May 2021, Chief Security Officer (CSO) at CyFIR from June 2019 to March 2020, Chief Security Officer (CSO) and Chief Privacy Officer (CPO) at Secure-24 from August 2015 to June 2019, and Managing Director of Infrastructure and Security at BondDesk Group LLC from September 2001 to September 2011. Early on in their career, they worked as a Network Specialist at Style Crest from September 1999 to September 2001. In addition to their professional accomplishments, Brian Herr also volunteered as a Private Session Trainer at the Michigan Humane Society from 2005 to 2008.

Brian Herr earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science Management from Rochester University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including the Certified Information Privacy Professional - Europe (CIPP/E) from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in December 2018, the Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) from the IAPP in November 2018, the CCSP certification from (ISC)² in June 2016, and the CISSP certification from (ISC)² in August 2015.
