Erick Darrington

Erick Darrington has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. Erick is currently employed at Coretelligent as a Project Engineer, where they play a crucial role in implementing technical projects and solutions for the company's Managed Services clients in the Finance and Biomedical fields. Erick collaborates with Level I and Level III project engineers and serves as a resource for discovery and knowledge transfer during the on-boarding process.

Prior to their current role, Erick worked at Access One, Inc. as a Project Engineer, leading technical projects and addressing escalated issues from Level 1 project engineers. Erick also served as a Field Engineer, advising clients on IT strategies and resolving network and system outages. Erick was involved in the planning and execution of networking projects for clients.

Erick also gained experience at Simply Smart Technology as an IT Technician, where they investigated and resolved hardware, software, and networking issues for clients. Erick conducted audits to track vendor performance and maintained compliance with quality standards. Erick also worked as a liaison between clients and support staff to build stronger relationships.

Additionally, Erick worked as a Subject Matter Expert at CompTIA, providing expertise and knowledge to assist in the development of CompTIA's certification exams. Erick also held positions at Natural Resource Technology, Inc. as an IT Support Specialist/Purchasing Coordinator and IT Intern, and at TechExpress Consulting as an IT Support Technician. Erick started their career at Badger State Industries as a Desktop Technician.

Throughout their career, Erick has acquired expertise in areas such as Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Windows Server Infrastructure, Cisco IoS, Mimecast, Datto Backup Portal and Devices, and Windows 10. Erick has also demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to providing quality IT solutions and support to clients.

Erick Darrington completed their education history as follows. From 2015 to 2017, they attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems with a focus on Networking. Prior to that, they attended Milwaukee Area Technical College from 2012 to 2015 and obtained an Associate's Degree in Network Specialist with a specialization in Architecture & Administration.

In addition to their formal education, Erick also obtained two additional certifications. In September 2018, they obtained the CompTIA Server+ certification from CompTIA. Later, in January 2021, they earned the Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals certification from Microsoft.
