Jemma Richards

Jemma Richards has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Jemma started their career as an Event Coordinator Intern at the National Trust for Scotland in 2011, where they assisted in planning and executing various events. Jemma then worked as a Relief Trampoline Coach at Enjoy Leisure before joining QMU Snowsports as the Ski Team Captain, responsible for organizing ski trips and coordinating lessons.

In 2012, Jemma interned at Equator Events and Public Affairs before taking on the role of Barista at Zebra Coffee Co, where they gained expertise in artisan coffee making and customer service. Jemma then worked as a Community Associate - MSP at SolarWinds, where they built their skills in community engagement.

In 2016, Jemma joined DistinctiveEvents as an Events Coordinator before transitioning to a more senior role as Events and Campaigns Manager at Delinea in 2017. At Delinea, they took on various roles, including International Event and Campaign Manager, Territory Marketing Manager - DACH, and Event Manager, International. Their responsibilities included proposing, organizing, and executing events to support demand generation strategies.

In 2022, Jemma joined Octopus Deploy as a Senior Events & Campaigns Manager, responsible for managing events and campaigns. Currently, they are working as an Events Director at CoreView.

Jemma Richards completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing and Events Management from Queen Margaret University from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Banchory Academy from 2004 to 2010, where they focused on subjects such as Business Management, Philosophy, English, Maths, and Product Design. In addition to their formal education, Jemma has obtained certifications in Digital Marketing, Marketing Planning, and PVG qualification.
