Richard also worked as the Research Projects Manager at Action Research, coordinating staff and resources for various projects and analyzing quantitative data.
In addition, McCoy has experience working for the U.S. Department of Justice as a Management Analyst. In this role, they served as the Training Coordinator and provided data analysis on contracts and policy initiatives.

Richard McCoy attended Hartwick College from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Government. Richard then went on to Syracuse University from 1992 to 1993, where they completed a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree with a focus on Public Administration.
