Richard McCoy

Richard McCoy has a diverse range of work experience. Richard is currently serving as the Director of Biostatistics - Registry Management at CorEvitas, LLC, where they manage and coordinates the organization's clinical registry systems. Their responsibilities include providing technical leadership, coordinating discussions across registry leads, standardizing registries, ensuring data quality, and training biostatisticians. McCoy also supervises a team of experienced biostatisticians and oversees nine clinical disease registries.

Prior to their current role, McCoy served as the Associate Director of Biostatistics - Registry Management at CorEvitas, LLC. In this role, they performed similar tasks and responsibilities as their current position.

McCoy has also worked at Rocky Mountain Poison & Drug Safety (RMPDS) as the Manager of Biostatistics. In this role, they supervised a team of biostatisticians and conducted research on opioid dependence surveillance programs for clients that included Fortune 500 pharmaceutical companies.

Before joining RMPDS, McCoy served as the Director of the Center for Health Statistics at the Vermont Department of Health. Richard oversaw research teams and data registries, including the Vermont Cancer Registry and the Vermont Immunization Registry. McCoy was responsible for collecting, maintaining, and analyzing various types of statistical, clinical, and behavioral information.

McCoy's earlier experience includes working as the President of Action Research, where they increased company revenue and managed research teams for health care, government, and non-profit projects. Richard also worked as the Research Projects Manager at Action Research, coordinating staff and resources for various projects and analyzing quantitative data.

In addition, McCoy has experience working for the U.S. Department of Justice as a Management Analyst. In this role, they served as the Training Coordinator and provided data analysis on contracts and policy initiatives.

Overall, McCoy has a strong background in biostatistics, data management, and research coordination.

Richard McCoy attended Hartwick College from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Government. Richard then went on to Syracuse University from 1992 to 1993, where they completed a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree with a focus on Public Administration.
