Syed Ahmed

Syed Ahmed is a seasoned leader with a proven management track record of over 95+ successful product tape-outs in high-speed storage technologies, low power hand-held products (MCU/IoT), and the mixed signal/wireless space. He has extensive experience in development, verification, and implementation environments in the deep sub-micron (16nm below) technologies.

Ahmed’s core competencies include building and managing teams, developing technology and product roadmaps, IP development and third-party supplier/vendor/IP management. He has been extremely successful with a hands-on approach resulting in a strong record of fiscal discipline.

Ahmed has held leadership roles at Cadence Design Systems, PLX Technology, OKI Semi as well as Silicon Graphics (SGI).
