Dennis Dalessandro

Manager, software engineering (Linux Kernel) at Cornelis Networks

Dennis Dalessandro has worked in the software engineering and high performance computing fields since 2004. Dennis began their career at the Ohio Supercomputer Center as an HPC Systems Researcher, conducting research in the areas of high performance computing related to advanced networking and file systems. Dennis then moved to Netapp in 2008, where they worked as a Software Engineer (performance) focused on improving takeover/giveback performance in Data Ontap. In 2013, Dennis started working at Intel Corporation as a Network Software Engineer - Linux device driver, developing device drivers for the RDMA subsystem in the Linux kernel. Currently, Dennis works at Cornelis Networks as a Manager, software engineering (Linux Kernel) and Kernel developer. In this role, they are responsible for the development of, and the upstream maintainer for the hfi1, qib, rdmavt, and opa_vnic device drivers, and is most active in the linux-rdma subsystem.

Dennis Dalessandro attended The Ohio State University from 1999 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
