Ronnie Payne has over 24 years of experience in the IT industry. Ronnie began their career in 1996 as a Technical Sales Rep at Dell, where they managed over two hundred accounts across medium business and corporate accounts. In 2003, they joined QLogic as a Sr. Business Development Manager, where they were responsible for all sales and GTM activities for QLogic fibre channel storage and high performance computing network solutions. In 2012, they moved to Mellanox Technologies as an OEM Business Development Manager for the Dell Account, where they managed sales engagements and GTM activities for Mellanox high speed networking solutions. In 2016, they joined Intel Corporation as a Business Development Manager, where they were responsible for driving major OEM account strategy, sales leadership, business development, revenue growth, design wins, executive relationship management, & joint marketing. Ronnie was also successful in launching Intel's Omni-Path high performance networking products for Dell's high performance computing and AI solutions, which led to 40% market share within 6 months of launch. In 2019, they became an Independent Consultant, where they served as an HPC Industry Business Development Consultant. Currently, they are an OEM Program Manager at Cornelis Networks.
Ronnie Payne attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications.
