As Vice President of Platform Engineering at Cornelis Networks, Vladimir is responsible for architecture, development, validation, productization, manufacturing, and support of all hardware products. Prior to cofounding Cornelis Networks, Vladimir held the title of Senior Principal Engineer and served as director of Fabric Platform Engineering at Intel Corporation, responsible for development of state-of-the-art Fabric Platforms for high-end and commercial HPC markets. Prior to that role, Vladimir served as director of Platform Engineering at QLogic Network Solutions Division, responsible for design, development, and commercialization of InfiniBand and Fibre Channel high-performance network switching platforms for HPC and storage markets respectively. Before joining QLogic, Vladimir served as director of engineering at SilverStorm Technologies, which was acquired by QLogic in 2006. Prior to joining SilverStorm in 2000, Vladimir held a variety of leadership engineering and management positions at Unisys, focusing on development of high-performance computing products. Vladimir holds more than 20 US patents on a variety of topics related to electronic packaging, including thermal management, board design and fabrication technologies, and high performance/density interconnect, among others.
Vladimir holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University, with post-graduate studies in Executive Master’s in Technology Management (EMTM), a joint program from University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering and Wharton School of Business.
