Fred Van Sickle

Fred Van Sickle serves as the Vice President for Alumni Affairs and Development at Cornell University since January 2016. Previous roles include Chief Development Officer and Associate Director at the Institute for Advanced Study and a decade at Columbia University in various leadership positions focusing on development and alumni relations. Earlier experience includes serving as Associate Vice President for Development at the University of Michigan and Vice President for Alumni and Development at Lake Forest College. Fred Van Sickle holds an Ed.D. in Higher Education from the University of Pennsylvania, an Ed.M. in Administration, Planning, and Social Policy from Harvard University, and a B.A. in History from Lake Forest College.
