Mark O'Brien, P.Eng, is a seasoned process engineer with extensive experience in the pulp and paper industry and metal processing. Currently serving as a Senior Process Engineer at Corner Brook Pulp and Paper Limited since May 2022, Mark previously held various roles at International Paper, progressing from Process Engineer to Area Process Manager for Recaust & Kiln/Evaps from April 2014 to April 2022. Mark has also contributed to Vale as a Process Technician and to Kruger Inc. as a Process Engineer, focusing on continuous improvement in paper manufacturing processes. Early career experience includes a position as a Jr. Process Engineer at West Fraser, specializing in Recovery and Recaust Departments. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta, obtained in 2009.
