Richard Kwock

Richard Kwock has a diverse work experience. Richard is currently working as a Principal Data Scientist at Cornerstone AI since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Facebook as a Data Engineer from September 2020 to April 2021.

Before joining Facebook, Richard held various roles at Medidata Solutions from October 2014 to August 2020. In their role as a Senior Statistical Analytics Manager, they led the development and launch of Medidata's first cloud-based machine learning data quality service. Richard also managed the Synthetic Control Arms engineering team, which generated significant revenue through the creation of an industry-first Synthetic Control Arms visualization dashboard.

Earlier in their career, Richard worked as a Statistician at Patient Profiles from April 2013 to October 2014. There, they co-developed a machine learning software application for clinical trials and implemented multi-dimensional data visualizations to explain the results of machine learning algorithms to clinical professionals.

Richard also worked as a Data and Policy Analyst at Acumen LLC from January 2013 to March 2014. Richard began their career as a Graduate Student Researcher at UCLA from April 2011 to June 2012, where they assisted with data analysis for various studies and set up computation processes for Bayesian model analysis.

Prior to UCLA, Richard worked as a Student Assistant at UC Davis Health System from August 2009 to September 2010.

Richard Kwock obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Statistics from the University of California, Davis, from the years 2007 to 2010. Richard then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biostatistics from UCLA between the years 2010 and 2012. In September 2012, Richard also obtained a certification in "Introduction to Computer Science and Programming" from edX.
