Scott Almy

Scott Almy is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cornerstone Capital Bank, a position held since 2022, after leading the bank's acquisition and transformation starting in 2019. Previously, Scott served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, as well as Chief Risk Officer and General Counsel at LegacyTexas Financial Group, Inc. from 2012 to 2019, where oversight of key operational and risk functions was essential for corporate growth. Prior to that, Scott founded The Almy Law Firm, PLLC, recognized in 2011 as one of Dallas's "Best Lawyers," focusing on banking and corporate legal matters. Scott's career began at Guaranty Financial Group Inc., where tenure included roles from Staff Attorney to Senior Executive Vice President and General Counsel. Early experience includes serving as a Systems Analyst at Compaq Computer Corporation. Scott holds a Juris Doctorate from Texas Tech University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University.
