Lisa Petro

Lisa Petro, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has over 30 years of experience in human resources. Lisa is currently serving as the Human Resources Director at Cornerstone Care Community Health Centers. Before that, they worked as the Director of Human Resources at The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy. From 2015 to 2021, they held the position of Director of Human Resources at Monongahela Valley Hospital, Inc., where they were responsible for overseeing various HR functions. Prior to that, Lisa served as the Regional Director of Human Resources at Consulate Healthcare and Manager, Recruiting and Employee Relations at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC. Lisa also served as the Director of Human Resources at Southwest Regional Medical Center, Division HR Manager at Apria Healthcare, Regional HR Manager at HCR ManorCare, Director of Human Resources at Celebration, and Manager at Follett Corporation. Lisa has extensive experience in areas such as employee relations, recruitment, training, and labor negotiations.

Lisa Petro, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business/Human Resource Management from Penn State University. Lisa also has a Master's Degree in Administration from Central Michigan University. Lisa completed their advanced academic studies at Uniontown High School, where they obtained a Diploma. In addition to their education, Lisa has obtained various certifications, including the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and SPHR from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
