Kari Quesada

Kari and her husband Josh have 4 beautifully rambunctious children, Emma (12), Eli (10), Ruby (8), and Stella (5). Their family moved to Colorado from Southern California five years ago. They have fallen in love with the beauty of this state, the season changes, the delicious food and drink and the deep sense of community they have found here.

Kari received her bachelor's degree in Sociology from California Baptist University and spent the years following school raising her young children, homeschooling and establishing a community of local moms. It was in those years that she realized that the Lord has created us to do this thing called life together, especially in regards to raising children together.

Shortly after coming to Cornerstone she stepped into the role of Pastor of Children & Families, one she had never foreseen for herself. It is a role that has stretched and grown her and one she is honored to hold. She has a passion for storytelling and helping children step into God's big story and live out their role in it. She thrives in the sweet chaos of a room of kiddos and has a deep desire to make those that come into her ministry feel safe and known.

Kari has a passion for community and living life together. Her happy place is having her home filled to the brim with people, laughter and Mexican food. She loves the Colorado seasons, traveling, dark chocolate, a hoppy craft beer and watching her husband and kids thrive in their gifts.
