Paul Kumpf

Paul Kumpf has extensive work experience at Cornerstone Defense. Paul began working for the company in 2014, where they initially held the roles of Partner & VP of Operations and Vice President of Human Resources. As VP of Operations, they oversaw various operational aspects of the company, while as VP of Human Resources, they focused on people and culture development, talent strategy, and employee engagement initiatives.

In 2019, Paul transitioned into the role of Contracts Manager, where they led contracts, provided leadership and resources for current contracts, and implemented solutions to support new business goals. Paul also managed corporate-level risks, assessed contractual execution and risks, and owned Contracts & Procurement policies and procedures.

More recently, Paul took on the position of VP of Business Development in 2020, where they were responsible for market analysis, strategic business planning, and customer interactions. Paul also engaged with existing programs to identify improvement opportunities. In October 2021, they assumed the role of VP of Federal Sales.

Throughout their tenure at Cornerstone Defense, Paul has demonstrated a strong ability to contribute to the company's growth and success by leveraging their expertise in operations, human resources, contracts, and business development.

Paul Kumpf attended the University at Buffalo, where they studied Physical Therapy. Paul also attended Daemen University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance. Additionally, Paul Kumpf completed an Associate of Science degree at Erie Community College.
