Gerald Cox

Gerald Cox, PhD, is a seasoned professional in materials science with extensive experience in various engineering roles. As a Senior Development Scientist at Corning Incorporated since August 2011, Gerald has contributed significantly to advancements in material technologies. Additionally, Gerald serves as a Board Trustee for Lifetime Assistance, Inc., an organization dedicated to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Previous roles include doctoral research at the University of Rochester's Laboratory for Laser Energetics, where Gerald focused on polymer cholesteric liquid crystals, and over seven years at Xerox Corporation, managing toner technology and engineering processes. Gerald's earlier experience includes product development at Schlegel Corporation. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate and a Master’s in Materials Science, as well as a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, all from the University of Rochester.
