Nikhila Balasubramanya

Nikhila Balasubramanya is a Glass Melting Process Engineer at Corning Incorporated since September 2022. Prior to this role, Nikhila served as a Doctoral Researcher at Rutgers School of Engineering from January 2018 to September 2022, after a brief tenure as a Doctoral Student at the University of Connecticut in late 2017. Nikhila's research experience includes a position as a Scientist in Materials Science at Aditya Birla Science and Technology Centre from August 2015 to July 2017, and an earlier role as an Assistant System Trainee Engineer at TCSL in 2012. Educationally, Nikhila earned a PhD in Materials Science from Rutgers University (2017-2022), a Master’s degree in Materials Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (2013-2015), and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, Mysore (2008-2012).
