Venkat Kommineni

Venkat Kommineni, CFA, currently serves as Vice President of Investor Relations at COPT Defense Properties since January 2023. With extensive experience in equity research focused on US REITs, Venkat has held Vice President positions at both Credit Suisse and Mizuho, and served as Director of Finance at Armada Hoffler Properties. Previous roles include Equity Research Associate at Janney Montgomery Scott LLC and Deutsche Bank, as well as a Senior Associate at Macquarie Capital Partners. Early career experience includes significant roles at Citi Private Bank in investment strategy and client management, and as a Trust Associate at The Bank of New York Trust Company. Venkat holds an MBA in Capital Markets and Asset Management from S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Southern California.
