Jason DeStefano has a diverse work experience history. Jason began their career as a Website Coordinator at PCF - Publishers Circulation Fulfillment in 1998 and later worked as an Assistant Project Manager at Pioneer Properties in 2000. In 2001, they joined JG Associates, LLC as a Web Developer and Administrative Assistant until 2003. During this time, they also worked at Policy Research Associates, Inc as a Database Designer and Developer, as well as a Senior Administrative Assistant from 2003 to 2010. Jason then joined MarketSource Inc. in 2017 as an Account Representative until 2019. In 2018, they took on the role of CEO and Producer at Divinity Digital Development and also worked as a Producer, Writer, and Director at Revelation: The Unveiling. In 2019, they became the CEO and Lead Developer at DDD Television, LLC and worked as a Screenwriter for the production "Boxed" produced by Torry Jackson. Jason DeStefano attended various educational institutions and acquired additional certifications throughout their education history. Jason started in 1988 at Bergen Catholic High School, where they completed college preparatory and Advanced Placement (AP) courses until 1992. In 1991, they briefly attended Brown University for creative writing and Seton Hall University for a course in Western Civilization. From 1992 to 1996, they studied Chemistry and Physics (pre-medicine track) at Virginia Commonwealth University.

In 1997, Jason enrolled at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, majoring in Computer Engineering until 1999. Seeking further education in computer science, they attended Russell Sage College from 2006 to 2008, focusing on Computer Information Systems.

In recent years, Jason pursued several online programs and courses. In 2016, they participated in the EdTechX: Educational Technology Program offered by edX in collaboration with MIT. Jason also engaged in programming language studies through edX, working with both MIT and Microsoft. Additionally, they completed an HTML5 XSeries Program via edX with W3C (World Wide Web Consortium). Jason expanded their knowledge in business by undertaking additional courses offered by MIT and Berklee.

Furthermore, Jason pursued personal development courses through the University of Pennsylvania and a Video Game Design Program through the Rochester Institute of Technology, both via edX. Jason holds certifications in various areas, including Copyright for Multimedia from Duke University, Crowdfunding from the University of Pennsylvania, Understanding Memory: Explaining the Psychology of Memory through Movies from Wesleyan University, and VR and 360 Video Production from Google AR & VR. Jason also obtained a certification in "What is the Metaverse?" from Meta.

Moreover, Jason obtained certifications in the field of cybersecurity, including Cybersecurity for Critical Urban Infrastructure from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Jason acquired several programming certifications, including Programming Using Python from MIT, Introduction to Cloud Computing from Microsoft, Programming with C# from Microsoft Corporation, Introduction to Game Design from MIT, and Windows 10 App Development Basics from Microsoft.

Most recently, Jason achieved the Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Application Developer Associate certification and completed the Video Game Design History program offered by the Rochester Institute of Technology.
