Nicole Layton

Nicole Layton is an experienced attorney currently serving at the Arizona Corporation Commission since June 2023. Prior experience includes working as an Associate Attorney at Matt Fendon Law Group from March 2022 to May 2023, and previously as a Law Clerk at The Weingart Firm from January 2020 to January 2022. Nicole also gained valuable experience as a Certified Limited Practice Student at the ASU Civil Litigation Clinic in the summer of 2020, and as a Research Aide at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University from August 2019 to May 2020. Legal externship experience was obtained at the Arizona Center for Disability Law and as an Undergraduate Intern with the Missouri State Public Defender. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
