Gabriel Forstner

Gabriel Forstner has worked in various roles since 2004. Gabriel began their career as an Apprentice and Craftsman at Flex in 2004. In 2010, they took on the role of Project Assistant at FACHHOCHSCHULE KÄRNTEN. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a System Engineer at MFprojects. From 2015 to 2021, they worked as a Researcher at Technische Universität Wien. Currently, they are a Lead Control Engineer and Senior Software and Automation Engineer at CorPower Ocean.

Gabriel Forstner completed their Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from FACHHOCHSCHULE KÄRNTEN in 2009-2012. Gabriel then completed their Bachelor Thesis II from the same university in 2012. Gabriel then went on to do their Bachelor Thesis I from the University of Limerick in 2011. Gabriel then completed their Diploma Ingenieur (Dipl.-Ing.) in Information Technology from Universität Klagenfurt in 2012-2015. Gabriel also completed their Master Thesis in Control Engineering from UC San Diego in 2014. Finally, they completed their Doktor der technischen Wissenschaften (Dr. techn. / PhD) in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from Technische Universität Wien in 2015-2021.
