Tony Farrar

Tony Farrar has over 35 years of professional experience. Tony began their career in 1985 as a Senior Auditor at Price Waterhouse Management Consultants, where they provided direct oversight and training to all accounting staff, and performed auditing duties for senior management and major clients. Tony was promoted to Senior Accountant one year earlier than normal career progression. In 1989, they became Accounting Manager at Houstons Restaurant, where they managed the day to day accounting and operational strategies for over 26 stores, improving sales and profitability. Tony supervised a staff of accountants within the accounting department, and implemented new accounting methods of coordination to increase efficiency and accuracy. In 1990, Tony joined Prudential Insurance Company of America as a Senior Agent, where they developed and implemented financial plans for individuals, businesses and organizations. Tony analyzed, recommended and sold insurance and financial products to clients, resulting in a bottom line increase for the company and earning the Million Dollar Round Table Award. In 2000, they founded and became President of Farrar Financial Group, where they managed all judiciary responsibilities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and overhead expenses. Tony grew sales in excess of $3 million and client count in excess of 5,000, and coordinated all sales strategies, marketing materials and maximized all verbal and written communication products. In 2018, Tony became Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at BlockInterop, Inc., where they oversee and implements the company’s financial planning, and performs risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments, and deciding on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks.

Tony Farrar obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Hampton University between 1981 and 1985. Tony then obtained a Certified Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) from The American College. Tony also holds various certifications from the State of Georgia, including an Agency Broker License, Georgia Realestate License, Life and Health Insurance Licenses, Long-Term Care and Medicare Supplement License, Mortgage Loan Originator License, and Property and Casualty License.
