Bob Powell

Bob Powell has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Bob is currently the Founder and CEO of Brightmark, a company they established in 2015. Prior to this, in the same year, they co-founded Correlate, Inc., where they focused on providing energy management services to commercial and industrial customers. In addition, they have served as the Chairman of the Board at ZincFive, Inc., a leader in Nickel-Zinc battery solutions.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Bob held executive positions at various companies. From 2013 to 2015, they were the President of North America at SunEdison, a renewable energy company, and prior to that, they briefly served as the President of Asia Capital Markets at the same organization. Before joining SunEdison, they were the President and CEO of Solar Power Partners, which was later acquired by NRG Energy. Bob also worked at Pacific Gas & Electric as the VP and CFO and spent several years as a Partner at both PricewaterhouseCoopers and Arthur Andersen.

Bob Powell completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1988. Bob then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting and Finance from Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business, graduating in 1990.
