Andy Dotson

Andy Dotson has a diverse work experience in the field of coaching and education. Andy started their career in 1991 as a Pit Boss at Fort Calhoun Keno and Longhorn Bar. Andy then worked as an Assistant Men Basketball Coach at Dana College from 1993 to 1994, followed by a similar role at Lon Morris College from 1994 to 1999. In 1999, Dotson became the Head Men Basketball Coach at New Summerfield High School until 2001. In the same year, they joined Corsicana ISD as a Physical Education Teacher and Head Golf Coach. Andy held the position of Head Men Basketball Coach at Corsicana ISD from 2001 to 2011. Currently, Dotson continues to work at Corsicana ISD as the Head Golf Coach.

Andy Dotson received their Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Dana College, which they attended from 1991 to 1993. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts – AA in General Studies from Lon Morris College from 1989 to 1991. In 1988, they briefly attended Texas Tech University. Andy completed their high school education at Corsicana High School from 1985 to 1988.
