Magdalena Hassel

Magdalena Hassel, MBA, has a strong background in finance and operations. Magdalena is currently the Finance Director at Corsicana Mattress Company, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Flowserve Corporation from 2019 to 2023, where they were promoted to the role of Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. In this role, they led a team and played a key part in implementing manufacturing strategies and reducing costs. Before joining Flowserve, Magdalena worked at Schlumberger from 2014 to 2019. During their time there, they held various roles, including Internal Auditor with a focus on data analytics and FP&A Group Reporting Lead. Magdalena also worked at Nobel, Ltd from 2008 to 2014, starting as a Customer Service Representative and progressing to roles as an Accountant and Financial Analyst. Magdalena's experience demonstrates their expertise in financial analysis, operations management, and implementation of cost-saving strategies.

Magdalena Hassel, MBA holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Academy of Economic Studies Bucharest, which they obtained in 2009. Magdalena subsequently completed their Master's degree in Corporate Finance at the same institution between 2009 and 2011. Magdalena is currently pursuing a CMA Certification at the Institute of Management Accountants, with an expected completion date in 2024. In addition, they have obtained several certifications from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in financial reporting, accounting, and management accounting.
