Sean O'Connor has a diverse range of work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Sean started their career at Milliman as an IT Security Analyst, where they ensured the implementation of security measures and provided recommendations for information security.

Sean then moved on to WideNet Consulting Group, where they served as an IT Security Analyst and audited existing processes, developed a governance framework, and improved the vulnerability management program. Sean also worked on compliance with PCI-DSS 3.2 and managed incident response.

At TEKsystems, Sean worked as an IT Security Analyst and gathered requirements, designed cybersecurity controls, and coordinated with control owners for implementation in a regulated environment.

Sean then joined Whitepages as a Security and Compliance professional, where they prepared the company for a SOC2 audit, defined policies and procedures, and identified control activities.

Sean O'Connor began their education at the University of Idaho, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering Technology. Sean attended the university from 1989 to 1994. Later, in 1998, Sean obtained a Certificate in Web Database and E-Commerce from UW Extension.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Sean O'Connor also obtained a certification as a Certified Information System Auditor from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association in June 2005.
