Robert Bussell

Robert Bussell has extensive work experience in the field of data science and image analysis.

From 2022 onwards, they have been working as a Senior Image Scientist at Cortechs.ai, where their responsibilities include designing and implementing image analysis software, building and evaluating deep learning and machine learning models, and handling data engineering and cloud processing in AWS.

Prior to their current role, Robert served as the Director of Data Science at PhenoVista Biosciences from 2020 to 2022. In this position, they delivered actionable insights from microscopy images and multivariate feature sets using statistical analysis and machine learning methods. Robert also designed and implemented tools for scientific applications on large image data sets and managed data infrastructure in collaboration with contract IT partners.

Robert Bussell attended Cornell University from 2000 to 2007, where they obtained a Ph.D. in Biochemistry. Additionally, Robert pursued a Master's degree in Physics at The University of Texas at Austin, although the start and end dates for this degree are unknown.
