Jake Levitt

Jake Levitt is the President and CTO at Cortex Fusion Systems, Inc., a pioneering quantum technology company focused on sustained nuclear fusion through advancements in coherent control and ultrafast lasers. Since joining in July 2021, Jake has secured venture capital from multiple firms, recruited noteworthy consultants from premier universities, and initiated collaborations with prominent research institutions. Jake holds a PhD in Quantum Many-Body Theory from UC Santa Barbara, alongside a Combined Bachelor's and Master's degree in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University. Previous experience includes roles in protein engineering, education, and bioinformatics, contributing to a strong background in scientific research and technology development.
