Michael Thorsager

Michael Thorsager's work experience starts in 2000 when they were a Technical Teamlead at Internord A/S. Michael then worked at WorldOnline Denmark A/S as a Sysadmin/Network Technician, implementing ADSL/G.SHDSL pops. From 2001 to 2002, they worked at Tiscali, where they transitioned to researching in DOCSIS and creating a platform for delivering Internet services via privately owned HFC networks. In 2002, Michael co-founded Nordit A/S, where they designed and built the whole IT infrastructure and provided Internet connections and VoIP via DOCSIS. From 2009 to 2012, they were an IT Consultant at EF SIKRING, designing and implementing networking and VPN solutions, as well as developing small systems and applications. In 2011, they were a Driftstekniker at Dansk Kabel TV, maintaining support tools and provisioning applications used in the production platform and configuring network equipment and Edge-QAMs. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Systems Administrator at TrioNet A/S. From 2014 to 2020, they were a Software Engineer at Stofa A/S, where they designed and developed applications for customer relations and network equipment provisioning. During this time, they were also the lead developer and architect on a custom provisioning system. Since 2020, Michael has been a Senior Software Engineer at Norlys, mainly working on a platform for provisioning layer-3 services on top of layer-2 services. Currently, they are a Senior Staff Backend Engineer at Corti.

Michael Thorsager attended Randers Tekniske Skole from 1995 to 1997, where they obtained a degree in HTX with a focus on Electrical Technology. Michael then pursued further education at Aarhus Købmandsskole from 1998 to 1999, completing a Datanom-kursus. During this course, they studied Programming Languages, Data Transmission, and Communication.
