Akiva Leffert

Akiva Leffert currently serves as the VP of Engineering and Product at Cortico since January 2023. Prior to this role, Akiva held various engineering leadership positions, including Director of Engineering and Engineering Manager at Segovia Technology from December 2019 to December 2021, and Software Engineering Manager at the Democratic National Committee from May 2017 to December 2018. Akiva was also a Senior Software Engineer at Hillary for America, contributing to iOS, Android, and data infrastructure in a fast-paced environment. Earlier experience includes roles as Mobile Team Lead at edX, Senior iOS Engineer at Etsy, and Software Engineer at Apple. Akiva earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University in 2006.
