Shane J. Henszey

Shane Henszey is a long time CISO, leader and visionary. Shane is an active advisor and strategist and is responsible for developing products and offerings that are unique to Cortrucent Technologies and their clients.

He brings 25+ years of experience in cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, operations and infrastructure to Cortrucent with a focus on industry specific compliance knowledge.

Prior to founding Cortrucent Shane served as the head of Cybersecurity & Compliance for Spencer Gifts and Spirit Halloween and was responsible for Cybersecurity, Risk, Compliance and Networking.

Earlier he served as the Director of Cybersecurity and IT for Five Below and was responsible for Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Operations, Support and Compliance and was responsible for strategic hypergrowth from 50 to 500 retail stores in 2 years. During his tenure he was also responsible for driving SOX 404 readiness and compliance as well as ensuring scalability for long term growth along with driving operational efficiencies.

Shane also has led Cybersecurity, Risk, and IT teams for AAA Mid-Atlantic, Bancroft and US Vision.

Shane has a degree in Information Systems and is a CISSP, Certified Information Systems Security Professional. He is also a Six Sigma Green Belt and a Qualys Certified Vulnerability Specialist.
