Cheryl Bechtel

Cheryl Bechtel, CPA, CA has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Cheryl has held various roles at Corus Entertainment, starting with the position of Accountant in 2004 and progressing to Vice President Finance, Content in November 2016. Prior to Corus Entertainment, Cheryl worked as the Corporate Controller at Fireworks Entertainment from August 2002 to November 2003. Cheryl also served as the Controller at Telemedia Radio from March 2000 to July 2002 and as the Operations Manager & Controller at AquaMetrix & Aquarius Coatings from March 1998 to December 1999. Cheryl started their career as an Accountant at Campbell Lawless LLP, Chartered Professional Accountants, where they worked from January 1991 to February 1998, eventually becoming a Senior Accountant. Throughout their career, Cheryl has acquired a diverse set of skills and experience in finance and accounting.

Cheryl Bechtel, CPA, CA completed their education at the Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario in 1996. Prior to that, they earned an Honours BA degree from the University of Waterloo in 1995, majoring in Chartered Accountancy Studies with a minor in Management Studies.
