Shannon West

Shannon West has a wealth of experience in the financial services and wellness industries. Shannon has been in their current role as Underwriting Manager at Corvia since 2020. Prior to this, they were a Compliance Analyst II and Risk Analyst at Corvia. In 2019, they were an AML Compliance Analyst- Seasonal at Netspend, where they performed account investigation and analysis for suspicious activity related to money laundering, terrorist financing, identity theft and other criminal activities. From 2016-2019, they were a Risk Management Associate/ Jr. Underwriter at 360 Mortgage Group, LLC, where they analyzed consumer credit and applied risk management standards. From 2012-2016, they were the Owner, Massage Therapy Instructor, and Registered Continuing Education Provider at Zephyr Wellness Center, where they were responsible for customer experience and hospitality, marketing, and designing a therapist training program curriculum.

Shannon West attended Baylor University from 2003 to 2007, where they studied International/Global Studies. From 2005 to 2006, they attended Central Texas Healing Arts Institute, where they obtained a 300 hour training certificate in massage. In 2020, they began a Nanodegree in Business Analytics with Udacity. Shannon also attended Austin Community College at some point. In December 2021, they obtained an ETA CPP certification from the Electronic Transactions Association.
