Erik Groom

Erik Groom, P.Eng. is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in compliance and mechanical systems engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Compliance Engineer at Corvus Energy since February 2019, Erik previously held the position of Senior Project Engineer at Powertech, where responsibilities included business development, project management, and mentoring junior engineers. Erik's career also includes significant tenure at MDA, where various roles encompassed lead mechanical systems engineer for the Sapphire Satellite project, as well as critical contributions to Radarsat-2 and RapidEye missions. Erik holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia and has furthered professional development through internal and external training programs at MDA.
