Richard Walters

Richard Walters is an experienced electrical engineer currently employed at Cory Environmental since October 2010, where responsibilities include managing the maintenance of high voltage/low voltage distribution networks and a 90MVA generation capability, as well as outage planning and HVAC/BMS. Prior to this role, Richard served as Engineering Planning Manager at GSK from February 2004 to September 2010, overseeing the planning and scheduling of maintenance work for a large pharmaceutical manufacturing site, and also held the position of Utilities Manager, responsible for providing central utilities such as steam and electricity. Earlier experience includes a role as Technical Support Engineer at Wellcome Foundation from May 1990 to July 1995, and as Sales Engineer at Otis Elevator Company from March 1987 to April 1990. Richard Walters holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Liverpool and education from Huish's Grammar School in Taunton.
