Mario Garcés

Mario Garcés has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Mario currently holds the position of Vice President - Transportation at CORYS since July 2020, where they previously served as a Senior Engineer and Production Manager. Prior to CORYS, Mario founded and directed Thunder España Simulación S.L. from 2009 to 2016. Mario also worked as a consultant and software engineer in a self-employed capacity from 2007 to 2008. Mario's earlier experience includes being a Senior Engineer at Thunder Simulations Inc. (now known as Corys Inc.) from 2005 to 2007, as well as holding the same role at GSE Systems Inc. from 2001 to 2005. Mario began their career as an Analyst at Universidad de Cantabria / Nuclenor S.A. from 1996 to 2001.

Mario Garcés received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the Universidad de Zaragoza in the years 1989 to 1994. Mario then completed a Masters degree in Nuclear Energy at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 1995. From 1996 to 2001, Mario pursued further studies at the Universidad de Cantabria, earning a Diploma de Estudios Avanzados in Physics and Applied Mathematics.
