Emily Palmisano

Emily Palmisano has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Emily started their career as a Medical Assistant and Billing Specialist at Wilmington Surgcare in 2000, where they handled insurance verification, billing, and collections. Emily then worked as a Surgery Scheduler at Eye Associates of Wilmington from 2003 to 2004. Following this, they worked as a Medical Assistant at Wilmington Orthopedics from 2004 to 2005. Emily then joined Atlantic Orthopedics as a Medical Assistant Float and Cast Tech, assisting orthopedic surgeons and physician assistants with outpatient procedures and recording vitals. Emily relocated to Ohio in 2006 and began working at the Cleveland Clinic as a Medical Assistant, a position they held until 2018. During their time at the clinic, they gained experience in a variety of medical tasks and responsibilities. In 2016, Emily began their studies at Cuyahoga Community College as a student until 2018.
