Michel Morvan has a long and varied work experience. Starting in 2004, they were an External Professor at the Santa Fe Institute. Michel then became an Eisenhower Fellow in 2009 and also held the role of Chairman and Co-founder of Éditions Chemins de tr@verse. In 2009, they were also appointed Chief Scientist and Corporate VP Strategic Intelligence and Innovation at Veolia Environnement. In 2013, they became a Speaker at HEC Paris Executive Education. In 2014, they took on the role of Executive Chairman and Co-founder at Cosmo Tech and also became CEO at Cosmo Tech (US). In 2018, they became President at IRT SystemX and an Expert in the OECD Network of Experts on AI (ONE AI). Most recently, in 2022, they became a Columnist at Bastille Magazine.
Michel Morvan obtained their Baccalauréat from Lycée Descartes, Rabat in 1983. Michel then went on to pursue their PhD in Computer Science at the University of Montpellier, which they completed in 1991. In 1994, they received their Habilitation from the University of Montpellier in Computer Science. Michel has no additional certifications.
