Vijay Chidambaram is a seasoned Data Engineer at Capital Group, boasting over 16 years of experience in database and cloud computing roles. Since joining in July 2007, Vijay has progressed through various positions, currently spearheading database platform initiatives and strategic consultations, focusing on cloud migration, disaster recovery efforts, and infrastructure as code implementation. With a strong background in managing Oracle and SQL Server platforms, Vijay has led successful migrations for numerous applications and orchestrated collaborative efforts across cross-functional teams to enhance application performance. An adept Agile practitioner, Vijay has facilitated quarterly planning and retrospectives, driving continuous improvements in data engineering practices. Vijay holds a BS and MS in Engineering and Management from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
