Jessie Altura, MDM

Jessie Altura has a diverse work experience in various roles within the fields of product design, photography, and UX/UI design. Jessie worked as a Product Designer at CostCertified starting in 2023. In 2016, they operated their own photography business, Jessie Altura Photography, where they excelled in capturing special moments for clients and showcasing their work at local exhibitions.

Jessie also worked as a Freelance UX Designer at Club Unity - Club Management Software from July 2022 to October 2022. During this time, they collaborated with stakeholders, developed UX strategies, and improved end-user experiences.

From September 2016 to February 2018, Jessie served as the UX/UI Design Lead at Big Shield Studios, contributing to the development of mobile games. Jessie created unique UI elements, conducted usability tests, and introduced the Scrum process to enhance team productivity.

Prior to that, Jessie worked as a Motion Graphic Designer at The Banff Centre from April 2015 to April 2016. Jessie played a crucial role in the organization's fundraising efforts by producing animation templates for an event that generated $1.3 million.

Jessie Altura, MDM, completed a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree with a specialization in Media Arts and Digital Technologies from Alberta University of the Arts, spanning from 2008 to 2012. Later, from 2013 to 2015, they pursued and obtained a Master's degree in Digital Media from The University of British Columbia. In 2022, Jessie acquired a certification in Applied UX Design from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT).
