Marcos Cruz Santiago

Marcos Cruz Santiago has diverse work experience in the technology industry. Marcos started their career as an Intern at UPCnet, where they conducted research on educational needs and participated in meetings. Marcos then interned at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they supported teaching and performed hardware and software maintenance. Marcos later worked as a Software Developer at Meteoplay SL, contributing to the development and maintenance of client-server applications and handling customer support. At Cotecna Inspection, they held various roles, including Technical Leader, Engineering Manager/Project Manager, and currently, Head of Engineering. In these positions, Marcos led software development teams, managed projects, and oversaw the engineering work at Cotecna. Marcos has experience with a wide range of Microsoft technologies and web technologies.

Marcos Cruz Santiago obtained an Engineer's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they studied from 2005 to 2012. In 2011 to 2012, they pursued a Master's thesis in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at the Technische Universität Dresden.
